However, we offer a fixed fee interview for any client wishing to discuss their case where we can provide initial advice and assessment on the matter, as well as consider if public funding is available and, if not, indicate if we can offer an agreed fee for the matter, or our hourly rates and an give an estimate of the likely over all costs. The fixed fee interview rates are below and of course such fees can be taken into account if you instruct us to represent you further.
Crime
- Fixed fee interview for 30 minutes £180 plus VAT @20%
- Magistrates Court – guilty plea from £750 plus VAT @20% (based on attending one hearing only).
- Magistrates Court - not guilty plea from £2500 plus VAT @20%
- Motoring offences (Magistrates Court – guilty plea) - £750 plus VAT @20%
- Crown Court – guilty plea from £1500 plus VAT @20%
- Crown Court – not guilty plea – from £3000 plus VAT @20%
- Appeals – from £1000 plus VAT @20%
The hourly rates that we will apply are as follows: -
- Partner - £250 plus VAT @20%
- Senior Solicitor - £250 plus VAT @20%
- Solicitor - £200 plus VAT @20%
- Trainee/paralegal - £125 plus VAT @20%
Family
The costs will be dependent upon whether the case is contested and the number of court hearings.
- fixed fee interview for 30 minutes £180 including VAT @20%
- uncontested divorce – applicant – fixed fee of £750 plus VAT @20% and disbursements.
- uncontested divorce – respondent – fixed fee of £450 plus VAT @20%.
- Application for a Child Arrangements Order – from £800 plus VAT @20% and disbursements.
- Application for an Injunction – from £1500 plus VAT @20% and disbursements.
- Application for financial relief – from £1250 plus VAT @20% and disbursements.
The hourly rates that we apply are as follows:-
- Partner £250 per hour plus VAT @20%.
- Senior Solicitor £250 per hour plus VAT @20%.
- Solicitor £200 per hour plus VAT @20%.
- Trainee Solicitor/Paralegal £125 per hour plus VAT @20%.
