We are available to assist client in the police station 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Our experts can provide professional and prompt FREE advice and assistance to any person (adult or youth aged under 18) detained in a police station or indeed at any location if being interviewed by a police officer or HM Customs & Excise Investigator.

If you, a family member or friend needs assistance we can assist provided the detained person (or in the case of a person aged under 18, their appropriate adult) requests our assistance.  If you are asked by police to attend for a voluntary interview, we can attend with you whether that interview takes place in a police station or your home or other place.  We can normally arrange such an interview at a time and date convenient to us, you and the police. 

We are available to assist client in the police station 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 day a year.  We primarily serve police stations in the Essex Area, namely, Grays, Basildon, Southend, Romford, Barking, Chelmsford, Harlow, and further afield such Braintree, Colchester and Clacton.  However, in addition we can assist with person arrested or detained at any police station in England and Wales.

We can be contacted any time night or day for URGENT advice or assistance only, by calling 01375 383283. When the office is closed selecting option 2 will transfer the call to someone who will be able to assist, or you can leave a message for someone to call you back.

Level of Service

If you are concerned about our level of service, please raise it with us and we will endeavour to resolve any concerns of complaint. Out terms of business with you, sets out how you can raise any complaints or concerns.

We have eight weeks to consider your complaint. If for any reason we are unable to resolve the problem between us within that timeframe, then you must ask the Legal Ombudsman to consider the complaint. The Legal Ombudsman may be contacted at PO Box 6806, Wolverhampton WV1 9WJ.

Please be aware that any complaint to the Legal Ombudsman must usually be made within six months of your having received a final written response from us about your complaint. Complaints to the Legal Ombudsman must usually be made within one year of the act or omission about which you are complaining; or within one year from when you should have known about or become aware that there were grounds for a complaint.
