We can assist in avoiding or reducing a disqualification and assist in persuading the court that there were “special reasons” for the driving or you will suffer “exceptional hardship”.

We are able to assist you in relation to any case involving driving offences. This includes matters such as speeding, careless driving, drink driving, failing to provide a specimen, drug driving, or more serious offences such as disqualified driving, dangerous driving or causing injury or death by dangerous driving.

We can assist in avoiding or reducing a disqualification and assist in persuading the court that there were “special reasons” for the driving or you will suffer “exceptional hardship”. 

You may qualify for Legal Aid, although for less serious offences you may not be able to satisfy the Legal Aid Agency’s merits assessment.  We can advise you upon this and help you complete the forms.

If you do not qualify for Legal Aid, we offer competitive rates for advice and assistance and can offer:

  • Fixed fee interviews – we can provide 30 minutes of advice for £100* or up to an hour for £150 *
  • Fixed fee representation for uncontested hearings (pleas, sentence, adjournment applications) from £400*
  • Fixed fee representation for contested hearings – the fee will depend on the work involved, including whether expert or medical reports need to be obtained, but typically the fee for preparing for and attending a trial will be between £1000* and £1500*

Level of Service

If you are concerned about our level of service, please raise it with us and we will endeavour to resolve any concerns of complaint. Out terms of business with you, sets out how you can raise any complaints or concerns.

We have eight weeks to consider your complaint. If for any reason we are unable to resolve the problem between us within that timeframe, then you must ask the Legal Ombudsman to consider the complaint. The Legal Ombudsman may be contacted at PO Box 6806, Wolverhampton WV1 9WJ.

Please be aware that any complaint to the Legal Ombudsman must usually be made within six months of your having received a final written response from us about your complaint. Complaints to the Legal Ombudsman must usually be made within one year of the act or omission about which you are complaining; or within one year from when you should have known about or become aware that there were grounds for a complaint.
